As part of the decision of the Parish Committee and Annual General Body Meeting to start a worship centre for our parishioners in Ulwe, and after several searches in various places, we finalized Arrows International School, Sector-2, Ulwe, to start the worship centre.
On Pentecost Day, 5th June 2022, the Parish Vicar Rev. Aby K Thomas conducted the first worship. Later, as part of Sanpada Jubilee Tamil Parish opening a new worship centre in this area, Tamil Parish Vicar and our presbyter jointly done the pursuit in various sectors of Ulwe. Finally found a shop in Sector 09 at Bay Bliss CHS. It was rearranged as a church. Our parish also provided financial assistance in the construction/alteration works. On Sunday, September 11, 2022, the then Bombay Diocesan Moderators Commissary Rev. Shekhar Yadav inaugurated the new church. Apart from the Jubilee Malayalam, Tamil and Marathi parish priests, some other presbyters of the Bombay Diocese also participated the inaugural service. Our worship has been held every Sunday at 05.00 pm at this new location since then. Sunday school class is conducted from 03.00 pm onwards. About 10 families live in this area. Around 25 people including children attend the worship.
