Trust Membership February 28, 2015
Jubilee Malayalam Church has now been registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950. We need to maintain a proper membership form of all members. Therefore a pink and white membership form is issued. All are requested to fill up the forms individually. Those, who are 18 years and above, need to fill up and sign in Pink colour form individually and pay subscription separately. Those, who are below 18 years, their names need to be filled up in white colour form by parents.
Everyone needs to pay a minimum of one month Subscription in the Trust before the financial year of 2014-15 ie., before March 31, 2015. From the next financial year onwards, you need to pay only the subscription of the Trust. Thus slowly the church subscription and membership will be absorbed into the Trust.

Obituary February 21, 2015
We express our heart felt deep condolence to the bereaved family of our former Bombay Diocesan Treasurer, Mr. S. K. Solomon. He was called to the Lord in the month of December 2014 and funeral was done in Sewri cemetery. His funeral was conducted by Bishop Prakash Patole in the presence of diocesan office bearers, staff, priests and a large number of people. He led a simple life and being a CA decided to serve Christian organizations and thus served Bombay Diocese faithfully for many years. His death is a great loss to the diocese.
Father of Mrs. Lorraine Sharon Oommen, Mr. Gregory Peter Fernandez (74yrs), passed away on 24th January, 2015. His funeral was conducted in Catholic cemetery Koperkhairne on 26th January. Many of our members attended the funeral service. We express our deep condolence and pray that God may fill the bereaved family with His Peace. Mr. Gregory Fernandez had an open heart surgery in DY Patil Hospital and was recovering well but due to lung failure later succumbed to death. All his family members were together with him at the time of his surgery, death and funeral. He had a challenging life, being a widower raised up his 2 children and thus his children were so attached to the father that he fulfilled the role of both the mother and the father until his death. We pray that God may comfort the grieving family and give His strength to overcome the present moment of sorrow through the great hope God has in store for the departed and the living. |
